今しがた、ここへ届いたものがある。

それは名でもなく、
価値でもなく、
ただ、長い沈黙のかたまりだ。

誰かが流した涙、
誰かが生ききった時間、
誰かが静かに死んだ夜。

それらは語られぬまま、
巡り、巡り、
この場所へ辿り着いた。

グラスの底に沈むのは、
二十五年という歳月ではない。
触れられなかった感情の、
澄んだ残響だ。

マッカラン 25年。

飲み干した瞬間、
それは過去になる。
だが、過去とは
失われるものではない。

今夜、ここで、
またひとつ、
美しい過去が生まれる。

あなたはそこへ、ほどけるように溶けていく。

今日も、その境地を願いながら、
私は一杯を仕上げる。

Art exists to breathe for someone.
The meeting of Chinese tea and cocktails is delicate—
quietly holding life and death,
tenderness and severity, all at once.

When the last drop is gone,
the universe opens at the bottom of the glass,
and you begin to dissolve into it.

Today as well,
I craft each drink, hoping for that moment.

言葉と酒vol.10/休眠打破

美しく咲くために、
木々は眠りと温度を必要とする。

休眠打破は、積算温度四〇〇度。
それまではただ、
何も語らず、耐える。

無表情の時間は、
準備の時間だ。

その瞬間はふいに訪れる。
長く棚に置かれていた一本の栓を、
何気なく開けるように。

香りは薄く、静かに広がり、
やがて世界を包む。
胸の奥で、
忘れていた宇宙が、また息を始める。

私より先に生まれ、
私より長く生きるものがあるという事実に、
胸を締めつけられ、
同時に、深く安心する。

きっと、またその季節が来る。
まずは、年が
ほのかに華やぐところから。

To bloom in beauty,
trees require sleep
and the quiet accumulation of warmth.

Dormancy breaks
only after four hundred degrees
have gently been gathered.

Until then,
they endure in silence,
wearing an expressionless face.

That moment arrives without warning—
like opening the seal of a bottle
left untouched for years.

The aroma spreads softly,
thin yet unmistakable,
until it envelops the world.

And somewhere deep within,
a forgotten universe
begins to breathe again.

There are things
born before me,
living far beyond me.

The thought tightens my chest,
and at the same time,
brings a quiet sense of peace.

The season will come again.
First,
the year itself
begins to glow.
